Eric J Cox served in the U.S. Marine Corps from ’99 – ’05.  Cox has published a book of memoirs about his personal experiences during the initial invasion of Iraq better known as Operation: Iraqi Freedom.  Cox was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.  His book, Cpl Cox, has received national recognition as a Finalist in the 2010 Indie Excellence Book Awards.
